There are five walks you can take around Whisby Nature park ranging from a brisk 20 minute (1.2 mile) walk around Thorpe Lake to the intricate pathways of Willow Walk (2.5 miles).
 
Information panels interpret the important habitats of the park at key points.  Hides are available on the banks of most of the lakes giving excellent sheltered viewing opportunities over the lakes and all but one are adapted for use by visitors in wheelchairs.  Coot Lake walk (1.3 miles) is accessible by wheelchair with assistance in dry weather.
 
Entrance to the Nature Park is free.  It is open from dawn to dusk, times varying according to the season.
 
Please inform the wardens beforehand if you are bringing a large group.
