The Whisby landscape offers inspiring opportunities for a wide range of arts activity. North Kesteven's arts team, artsNK, coordinate a programme of exhibitions, workshops and commissions in the Nature Park, as well as an artist in residence scheme.
Several artworks have already been sited around the park each creatively exploring our relationship with the natural world and what makes Whisby special.
As you walk around the Nature Park look out for…
Magical Moving Pictures. Lenticular photographs which change as you move by. Performers from the 2001 Dance Festival weave and dance their way through the landscapes in these haunting images spotted around the Nature Park.
Woven Willow. Living sculptures created by the Land Art group and Thorpe on the Hill village residents.
Senses Trail. Use all your senses to explore the wonders of Coot Lake. This trail features photographs, tactile relief plaques and an audio guide (read by the Nature Park wardens) with sounds of the park.
