Facilities for All -
We can boast 10 disabled car parking bays near the centre, full wheelchair access to the cafe, exhibitions, shop and toilet as well as around Thorpe,Coot and Grebe Lake. We also have two electric buggies for hire at a nominal charge of £2 per morning or afternoon(LWT Members are free),however booking is strongly recommended.
The permanent exhibition is entertaining, interactive and tactile, so is suitable for all groups We have baby changing facilities in all the toilets and baby nursing is acceptable anywhere or if a private area is required please ask at the reception desk. We also provide a childs play area with comfortable seating. A new introduction is a free recycled lending library, if you have any books you would like to swap or you would to borrow from the book corner just call at the reception area.
