An exciting new programme has been developed for the summer holiday this year which we hope will prove popular with our visitors, both new and old.
Every morning from 11-12 noon under 8s can enjoy themselves with activities designed to amuse for only £2.50 each. Parents or Guardians must accompany children to this activity.
Afternoons are for the older children in the family aged 8 and over. Sessions last from 1.30-3.30 and cost £5.00 each. For the afternoon sessions children may be left at the activity area but parents/ guardians must not leave the building.
Mondays will see Victor Scott and his Trash Percussion workshops in his first season at The Natural World Centre, following previous workshops held at Southwell Minster. For hese sessions children need to bring an old plastic bottle.
Wednesdays and Fridays we will be joined by Lisa Robinson and Angela Tear and arts and crafts are the name of the game where a variety of media will be used to explore colour and texture.
ArtsNK Photography Officer Jane Harrison will run a photography course in the first two weeks of the holiday on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for children over 13 with parents or guardians. Over the course learn how to use photography in an artistic manner.
Call the Centre on 01522 688868 or e-mail for full details of our exciting new activities and to book your place on what is sure to be a popular way of keeping the children amused
